On Wednesday December 20th, after nearly a year, the doors of the Thermia Palace hotel opened again for first spa guests, residents and visitors of Piešťany.
This exceptional hotel built in a unique architectural style - the height of Art Nouveau in Slovakia, is one the most beautiful and oldest buildings in Piešťany. Folowing the comprehensive reconstruction the hotel regained the splendour and elegance of the thirties, elevating it to become the first 5-star spa hotel in Slovakia.
The opera singer Ľubica Rybárska performed songs from her Christmas CD during the gala dinner; the CD was also a present for the invited guests. The residents and visitors of Piešťany had a chance to also view the hotel. Two days before Christmas Eve we served traditional Christmas punch in the Thermia Palace. Everything is full of festive Christmas atmosphere and the coming New Year’s Eve and New Year 2007!
