Spa Piestany invite you to the mud pool in Irma Spa house after its reconstruction in 2004 to try the unique treatment for free.
Piestany Spa's mud pool has a uniqueness and beauty which separates it from other world renown mud baths. The temperature of the mineral water varies from 39°to 42°C, sometimes reaching locally higher levels in places above the springs. Guests in the mud pool stand, slowly walk or sit on the edge of the pool. The treatment ends with a shower and up to 15-min dry wrap.
Thursday from 14:00 till 23:00 hod.

The mud pool in Piestany belongs to the European rarities. It is a part of the balneotherapy house named Irma. Irma was finished with the Spa hotel Thermia Palace in 1912. The idea worth of a genius – to join the Spa section with the accommodation section – was that of the Piestany Spa leaseholder, Ľudovít Winter. The palatial spa complex Irma and the hotel Thermia Palace, both with their elements of eclecticism and historism, belong to the significant Art Nouveau buildings in Slovakia. The round mud pool, 21 m in diameter and 500 m2 in area, is situated under a 16 m high monumental cupola. The pool is built above the thermal water springs and its foor is made of the healing thermal mud deposits. The pool height goes through all four floors of the building.
