The ringing bell signifies the small tourist train stopping on the Spa Island and in the town centre. It started working on a regular schedule in Piešťany on 20th August, and there is great interest in riding it among both visitors and spa guests. The train will continue running up to 31st October and, if weather permits, even longer. Next year it should start running from 1st May.
The locomotive and two passenger wagons have a capacity for 48 people. The track starts from the Colonnade Bridge and makes a circle around the Spa hotels to the centre daily from 9 AM to 9 PM, with a break from 3 PM to 3:30 PM. The fee for one circular trip for adults is SKK 30, children and retired 65 and older SKK 20, and children less than 3 can ride for free.
