The Slovak Health Spa Piestany passed an extensive inspection in August, which observed the quality of their systems ranging from management to individual services.
The German Medical Wellness Association from Germany began cooperating with Danubius Hotels Group in the beginning of the year and focused their attention this time on Thermia Palace and the Irma Spa House.
The auditors were interested in the maintenance of quality standards- including the documentation of suggestions and advices, the communication between management and other members’ of staff, such as in the spas or at hotel reception. They wanted to observe the spa hotel in its daily functions, how it’s laid out for the accommodated and outpatient guests. They were also interested in the control of documentation- the manner in which it’s organized, its foundations, who comes into contact with the personal information, as well as other matters related to management.
The Medical Wellness Company, accredited by TUV Rheinland in cooperation with DHG, evaluated four other hotels this year, three of which were located in Hungary and one in the Czech Republic- in Marienbad. According to previous evaluation of the auditors, the results of the evaluation for Thermia Palace were so far the best out of the Danubius Hotels Group.
The results of the inspection will be allocated to the certificate in the name of TUV. After the announcement of the certificate, Spa Piestany is expecting an influx of interest from health insurance companies, particularly from those located in Germany. In regards to health insurance companies, this certificate, which guarantees the quality of our spas, is key in helping them arrange spa treatment stays for their clients.
