Inhalation

Uses inhalation of liquid or solid agents dispersed most often in the air. The use of mineral water with a sulphur content has a local antiseptical action. Our staff also makes use of weak sodium chloride waters (salty waters), which act as expectorant agents, making phlegm less viscous and making coughing easier. Iodine/brome containing salty waters contain ions of iodine, they act as mucolytic agents, being expectorants and anti-inflammatory agents. Inhalation therapy is suitable especially for the treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of upper and lower respiratory infections, and bronchial asthma.
