Treatment of children in Piešťany has a long and rich tradition. The first children’s sanatorium Kvetuša was established in 1932 by Ľudovít Winter, as one of the first in Europe. The first chief doctor in the children’s sanatorium was MUDr. Ľudovít Billeš.
