Spa Piestany's classical massage is a treatment technique which affects our guests body as well as soul. It employs various techniques such as caressing, rubbing, kneading and vibration when the tissues are irritated slightly, moderately or vigorously, which intensifies the flow of the tissue liquids (lymph, blood), facilitates the rejuvenation of the body following physical and mental exercises and strengthens the immune system.
The partial massageExceptionally soothing and stimulating lymph drainage, opens pores and enables the skin to breathe, while gentle stimulation of pressure points releases tension in our guests head, neck, shoulders and back. This treatment usually lasts 20 minutes
Descending total massage is applied in the following sequence – upper extremities, chest, belly, back and lower extremities, its effect is rather tranquillising, ascending massage is applied in the opposite direction, and its effect is rather stimulating (increasing the blood pressure). The classical massage could be optionally combined with a bath in the „mirror pool“ or in a bath. |
